AGGRESSIVE INDULGENCE
by O. MaiSo, our sources tell us that last night, at a House club downtown, a fight exploded without much warning. It involved, rather surprisingly,
Richard St. Vier, the quiet, sweet-voiced drummer of
Cosmic Indulgence. Apparently, working that percussion set really builds up muscle, because he took care of his opponent with barely any trouble, never mind the massive size of the adversary.
Neither of the combatants wished to comment on the occurrence, on their way out of the club, but eyewitnesses are very willing to shed some light on the occurrence.
Apparently, it was not St. Vier who started the fight at all. In fact, an eyewitness reported it was
Junkyard Carnival's
Alec Campion who repeatedly spoke to the large, nameless man, causing him, in the end, to swing a punch at the Carnie. Without missing a beat, St. Vier was there, fielding even the first punch, and taking care of the commotion. It worked so perfectly that it made people wonder - is that something the two musicians do regularly? And, if so, what could be their reason for it?
Is the quiet, mature drummer showing a surprising violent side? Will that lead to new directions of the music of
Cosmic Indulgence?
We don't know. But we can share with you the picture one of our witnesses took earlier in the evening - and is it
amazing how good are the images taken by contemporary smartphones? This one brought to you by Nebula s-8, in stores only these three weeks.
Following: Image of Alec licking Richard's abs, a lime in one hand and a bottle - clearly tequila - in the other.
