Seeing her face on that tiny card. She wasn't particularly fond of the clothes, but rules were rules and she had to obey the rules the Masked Men gave. They seemed to be in charge of this world.

Eventually, she's forced to experiment with the communicator after several days of wandering. This leads to incomprehensible text messages that look like someone pounded on the letters, followed soon after by voice messages with only the sound of background noises and breathing.

[This lady looks older than them, but she doesn't seem to understand a whole lot. She must be from a really different world.]

All you have to do is find a store or a restaurant or someplace that says they're hiring and ask them if you can have a job. If it's a small one they won't need much else. Try to find something like cleaning or being a waitress. That's easy to get.

[Oh, that's true. This is a very smart child. She hopes they've been keeping up in their fitness. They'd already done such a good job earlier.]

I understand. I have to try different kinds of training first before taking the test.

[Also, it's occurred to Frisk that a job like waitressing involves talking to people. That's why they didn't try it. This lady maybe shouldn't do that right away either.]
