FLOWERS OVER BONES AND THE NON-CHRISTIAN AGENDA OF SECULAR MUSIC

We already know about the dangers secular music can bring to our children and their faith in God in subtle ways, see MANTICORE and Junkyard Carnival's debauchery and worship of violence, Flashstep and their mind control over young impressionable girls and boys, Crown of Thorns rampant homosexuality and blatant rejection of traditional gender roles, and Defying Atmosphere's devil worship disguised as fantasy. But some bands are over trying to be covert in their plans. Some are trying to convert your children into foreign religions, turning them away from Christianity. Take Virgo's Flowers Over Bones, at first they seem innocent for a secular band. They play classical music with a twist that may even seem catchy at first and unlike other bands they don't seem interested to subverting traditional values. But like every other band, they are nothing but a tool to keep your children away from the teaching of God.

One of their beloved members, Rei Hino is even a high priestess in one of these pagan religions out east, she was even raised at a temple. She has beauty, charm and the musical ability to brainwash your children. Flowers Over bones real agenda isn't to 'push boundaries'  to even to entertain people, it's to brainwash your children away from God to serve these other, foreign religions with their confusing gods that are not true. Keep your child away from this band and all others, if they are fans of this band, immediately seize any albums and merchandise away and submerse them in Christian teachings and music.

Thousands have already been converted, will you let your child be one of them?

Shut up, you know you want my hands in your hair again. [She smirks and leads him over to the couch and TV area. It's kind of a mess-- snack detritus is strewn about, and Luci is apparently working on a bag of microwave popcorn.]

I know what we can watch-- go-to classic. [She vaults the back of the couch and lands on it like she does it every day because she practically does.] Princess Bride time.

[ He's... definitely looking a little taken aback by the mess, actually. He frowns and starts brushing crumbs, wrappers and whatever off the spot on the couch he decided to take for himself. ]

[ The title clearly says nothing to him. ]

[It's been a while since Luci's let housekeeping into the suite.]

Oh G-O-D no. [Luci grabs the remote and navigates to the DVR-- she and Yuffie have apparently saved the recording since a couple months back.] Love, swordfights, and gigantic rats. You'll love it.

[ LOOKS LIKE IT. Is there anything like a bin/laundry basket/any basket around? Because Squalo just might take it and start picking up the trash all around the sofa. :/ ]

Two out of three sound good. [ He doesn't look too convinced, but he'll finally take a seat, after making sure he won't end up sitting on or leaning against anything sticky. ] Hey, I'll decide whether I'll love it or not.

[There's a bag that looks like it once contained a ton of french fries? GIVE HER A BREAK, SQUALO, every time that door opens she's afraid it's Lesedi.]

Hey, don't you trust me? [Luci flops down on the couch next to him, hitting play on the movie and making herself comfortable against Squalo. She's warmer than the average human, and a moment later she frowns.]

It's an epidemic, I swear. Everyone is freezing!

[ SURE HE'LL USE THAT. Okay she doesn't need to open the goddamn door, why can't the band just clean after themselves? The stars? Not today? ]

Where's the fun in that?

[ Not a straight answer, but he might not be willing to leave his life in your hands just yet, Luci. Still, he looks comfortable with her closeness, even puts an arm around her because why the hell not -- and then blinks right back at her. ]

What? No I'm not. [ A pause. Now he's frowning. Is it constipation? Worry? One of those. ] You're warmer than usual. Running a fever?

[Carnies, Squalo. Carnies.]

Smart answer when the Devil asks if you trust her. [Luci seems to write it off as a joke and continues settling into the couch against Squalo. He's a little muscle-y and sharp in spots, but physical contact is physical contact.]

[She groans and makes a face.] Fuck I hope not. I've felt like shit all month, the last thing I need is the flu.

[ You could say he's trying to be funny but he's actually perfectly serious. Dat narcissism. ]

[ ...he's probably also kind of bony in spots, but hey. At least there's something nice about being this close to him. Almost as if it's got a calming effect. Clearly it's just the comfort provided by physical contact, right? ]

No kidding. Had any other symptoms?

This is the point where I'd grab your package and make a joke, but that would require moving. So just pretend it happened.

[Also yes, she's calmer and less stressed while cuddling with Squalo, she wants to stay that way. It's been a long time since she's been calm.]

Headaches sometimes? But I just figured that was from not eating. [Nerves, no appetite.]

[ Great. Clearly she should cuddle with him more. Is anyone even watching the movie? Doesn't look that way so far. Is this before or after dinner party though. ]

No appetite. Too stressed. I don't eat much on tour either.

[ ALRIGHT THEN guess this is how she gets invited. ]

Heeeey, that's no good. [ but the concern is immediately replaced by a grin. ] You just need amazing food, yeah? We're throwing a Solstice dinner [ today/tomorrow, whatever, timelines ], you should come.

You are? Throwing a dinner party? [Luci looks up, surprised and enchanted by this revelation.] Well shit, I didn't expect you to be a chef-- which is stupid of me to assume but damn, that's hot.

Hell yeah. [ He's clearly pleased by the impression he's made, his expression turning more smug. ] And a pretty damn good one. Authentic Italiana dishes, way better than what the little grandmas offer. ...and whatever Genos is making.

[ he's sure not selling himself short at least. but that confidence is actually backed up. as usual. ]

You sure you want me to bring my favorite asshole? [Luci grins and pulls on a lock of Squalo's hair teasingly.] I hear you lost to him at a literal dick-measuring contest.

[ His grin turns slightly menacing. ]

Sure. Just keep him away while I have a knife in my hand, or he'll be losing every dick-off in the future.

[ GEEZ LUCI size isn't everything but guys are still sensitive about it don't you know. ]

[ Give him a moment, he's imagining it. It's a pretty nice thought, actually. Hope she digs a five inch heel into his back while at it. ]

...Honestly no. [She laughs and starts shuffling Squalo down onto the floor. It's braiding time.] I have a feeling he'll bite straight through the leash and then I'll be in trouble.

[Probably trouble she wouldn't object to but...]

Well maybe I'd work more on my evil magic if someone would notice it. [She laughs again, running the movie back.] What's the point, otherwise?

He's not stronger than me, you know.

[ He feels the need to accentuate that, but he lets her direct him and slides off the couch, still facing the TV, until his head is between her legs (not like that, you filthy creature). Hello again. ]

I notice it. [ He reassures. Any snacks in reach? ] Want me to alert the media?

Maybe not-- [Luci pulls Squalo's head back by his hair gently until he's looking at her.] But you let me put you on a leash. You think I'd be able to hold you down if you didn't want it? [Luci does have a set of shoulders on her, but she's not deluded enough to think she can hold her own against a built dude.]

[Little does she know...]

[She puts a playful kiss on Squalo's lips and straightens up, letting go of his hair. Yeah, there's a half-eaten bag of chips on the table.]

Oh you're a dear, Squalo, but it's old news to them no doubt. You'll only be disappointed at their lack of journalistic integrity. [She grins.] You want some tuna with those?

I'm sure you'd find a way.

[ He grins up at her, all casual-like. This is actually sort of relaxing. Especially when her fingers are in his hair. ]

So maybe they've noticed it before. [ He suggests, reaching for that bag of chips -- and then pausing, to look at her wide-eyed. In that hungry way cats look when they watch you eat something you didn't share with them. ] There's tuna?
