I wasn't really thinking about it, but that would be pretty cool. I was just asking though because it seemed like a lot of cats to come up with names for all in one day.

[He laughs.] Yeah it looked like he was probably having fun taking that place over, huh?

So are you living there now too, or do you still mostly hang out with your band in the penthouse?

[Hopping away from the bar, he strolls on out.]

And I'm thinking I'll still stay at the penthouse. I mean, seriously, I just got the apartment for the cats since An is sticking on the "no pets" thing. But if I ever wanted to haul ass... Well, it's a place to stay at.

[Sora falls into step beside Artolo as they head out.]

That's true. And you could always invite people from your band over, too. As long as they like cats, anyway.

Are you kidding me? [Artolo bursts out laughing.] Most of the assholes, Mai excluded, encouraged me.

I. Uh. Actually got a gift from our, y'know... vocalists. Before the new guy. [In his jacket, he pulls out a cat shaped flask.] Jackass.

[It's said kind of fondly.]

[It's not like Sora could say anything against those who'd encouraged him. He'd argued with Artolo's manager for him to be able to keep his first cat, after all.

He grins at the flask. It's quirky, and makes him think of Artolo too. It works.]

I remember seeing him when I watched your band at the music festival. How are you getting along with your new band mate, anyway?

[iitrebel]

Haven't met him yet. But we're not going to make it easy on him.

[His smirk takes a turn for the sharp, not exactly pleasant.]

Wolfram didn't deserve to be fired, and if it turns out this guy is some pet of a higher up or something...

[Yeesh. Well, as long as they weren't planning on beating him up or doing the Predator thing, it wasn't any of Sora's business. Still, he feels bad for the potential new band mate already.]

Hopefully he's a nice guy and you won't have to worry about any of that. Still weird that they fired your other band mate, though. Have you heard from him since he was booted?

[For some reason, he's naturally inclined towards pessimism on this one. Rubbing the back of his neck, he gives a sputtery sigh.]

No, nada. But he was always kind of reserved in this snooty way, you know? I tried to get him out more, but, who knows, maybe he was shy. For all I know, he's fuming in his room somewhere.
