Crown of Thorns has been under quite a bit of scrutiny over the past few months, all for varying reasons. But for all the nonsense about covens and cults and werewolves, at least ONE member of the band is trying to be a kind, considerate, and wonderful role model for the younger generation.
Who, you might ask my dear readers? None other than the violinist Miss Mai! Miss Mai? You exclaim aghast! Why yes, Miss Mai. Most known for her cold shoulders and resting bitch face, it seems that she’s just incredibly shy about sharing how caring she truly is!
According to inside sources, Miss Mai has not only an extensive collection of frilly, colorful, and lacy dresses that would put theme park princesses to shame, but she dons the dresses to do the kindest thing imaginable! Using her free time, Miss Mai takes her violin and dresses and visits underprivileged children in run-down, practically desolate orphanages and plays a small private concert, bringing a bit of joy and light into their lives.
She goes under the pseudonym "Sugar Star Princess" covering herself in glitter from perfectly coiffed head to fashionable heel-covered toes. If that weren’t enough, Miss Mai reads stories to the children in the dresses before bidding them all adieu with gifts and kisses. While even just doing this once is heartwarming and kind, it seems Miss Mai has been doing this for quite some time, months even, and it’s only just now come to light! It seems, according to the inside source, that Miss Mai simply didn’t want her charitable acts known to the public, endeavoring to maintain her aloof image and to ensure that no one tried to take advantage of the orphanages she visited. But the inside source could stay quiet no longer, they wanted to see to it that Miss Mai got the praise and credit she always deserved.
Oh Miss Mai, we have sorely misjudged you. We can only hope that your kindness, generosity, and charity you exhibit can be spread among your fellow band mates and the Pride Label itself! Don’t worry, Sugar Star Princess, you will always shine bright in the eyes of this esteemed paper!
