Romeo and Julian of Bass

For sometime now there had been speculation about the romantic lives of Bassists Xanxus and Ryouta Kise, while both have been seen the company of others in ways that could be considered romantic (such as Ryouta singing Disney love songs with Sora of Flashstep fame on a karaoke night in early December) none have quite measure up to the current evidence.

There have been rumors that the two had been seeing each other causally since the Awards Gala in October, and there have been claims of people seeing them kiss on multiple occasions. On one memorable occasion after Xanxus had been severally injured Kise was seen helping him into the back of a taxi.
“It was sweet, and tender, I could’t bring myself to take a picture,” one of our regular informers said.
“They’ve been very lucky not to be caught on camera until now,” another said. “Either they’re kissing before we can get our camera’s up, or we’re at a bad angle. Looks like Cupid was on their side until they were ready to be open about it.”
Of course, kissing on the kiss cam at a Stars homegame is different then kissing at a bar. Perhaps this is their way of announcing their relationship. A flashy way to do it, but if we remember Kise’s infamous selfie misfires from a while ago it makes since. Now we know who was supposed to get those shirtless pics.
Of course, not everyone is happy for the new couple. “Kise’s a brainless beauty,” one Carnie fan had to say. “Once Xanxus realizes this he’ll be kicked to the curb.”
Virgo insiders, however, are more worried for Kise’s well being than the fans. “I told him to be careful,” one such insider said. “Xanxus has a history. A violent one. Everyone at Virgo is worried that Xanxus will hurt our Ryouta.”
“Good boys are attracted to bad boys,” another said. “Ryouta’s seventeen and recently emancipated from his father, who we’ve been told was rather controlling. It’s little wonder Ryouta’s attracted to Xanxus. However, Xanxus is significantly older than Ryouta is. I over heard him tell Luce (of Flower over Bones) that Xanxus has been nothing but sweet to him. That may be the case, but still, I worry.”
Pride insiders were also wary, but for different reasons. Sources say that tension between Pride and Virgo CEOs are at an all time high, and worry that Xanxus might get in trouble for dating a Virgo Bassist.
“Other than that, we wish them the best!” they said.
It seems like the new couple has some hills to climb, but that’s most couples for you.
