[Sabo regrets calling him an idiot. That sort of thing is beneath him. He wants to say that he's not pompous and not trying to rationalize anything. He's trying to explain something. To see what people will do and say to an extent. And he wants to argue this point. To open it up to something beyond. Something more. Something he can grasp onto and run with that means more than just playing for money.

Telling this guy, though, would be like speaking to a brick wall. Sabo's not interested in that kind of opposition. As he doubts he'll get anything out of the conversation, he's not going to pursue it. Let this guy think what he wants of the silence. That's not what matters in the end anyway.
