Have you ever wondered what happens when the full moon rises over Vista City? Have you ever heard those horrible yowling sounds in the lower levels near Pride HQ? Because we here at the Vista City Arcane certainly did, and we launched an all out investigation to find you, dear readers, some answers. That's right folks, we risked life and limb to get you this exclusive!

By now you must have heard of the new goth sensation Crown of Thorns, and perhaps their violinist's name will right a bell: Mai, no last name on record. This lovely young woman is clearly hiding something by obscuring her family name, and we have found records that she actually has no name on record. Coincidence? This reporter thinks not! Given her proclivities towards sulking and staying out of the light, it's our deduction that she has in fact sold her name to Satan himself in exchange for the power of Lycanthropy!

Yes, dear reader, Mai Nolastname is in fact a werewolf! A genuine, bonafide shapeshifting bride of Old Scratch himself! Our crack team of investigators waited down in the lower levels and managed to snap several photographs of this shocking change, all of which will be included in the next issue of the Arcane once we recover them. Tragically, two of our men are currently in intensive care, and one more was torn to pieces by the savage She-Wolf. It was not a sight that I, Harry Carpenter, am ever likely to forget. Those vicious claws and cold fury are etched forever into my memory, as are the Pride Diva's guttural snarls as she mercilessly attacked.

It is this reporter's professional opinion that all residents of Vista City should immediately stock up on silver bullets from our good friends at Halesworth's Silver Emporium, and exercise extreme caution around the rising of the full moon next month!
