Tabloid: Ice Cold Heart?

Nuclear Parliament: Explosive New Recruit!

Rising star, Shinichi of Nuclear Parliament, promises to bring some more punk to the punk-rock band. He was caught today with bandmate Roxas leaving a bar at about 3 in the afternoon, drinks in hand. They head a few blocks away to a local ice cream parlor, apparently not only drunk, but high on something unconfirmed.

Later upon returning to the bar they have a confrontation with staff about the stolen glasses. Roxas begins shouting about his supposed fame, only intensifying the situation. The newcomer, however, looks the staff member in the eye as he smashes his glass on the ground, and we have the photos to prove it!

Rising star Shin appears at first to be trying to appease the staff member. He can be seen smiling even through his own outburst and right out of the door. The involved staff refused to comment on the situation at first, but just before we moved on, the manager informed us that the card had been declined! We have a first hand report from a protected informant that Shin was overheard cancelling the card on the phone, though with the reckless behaviour we have to wonder if he hasn’t just spend all his money on drugs and alcohol.

A Virgo Entertainment informant has suggested that the new pick might have been to get Nuclear Parliament a bit more of a rebellious reputation, something that Junkyard Carnival from rival company Pride Records has cornered the market on. But is this new guitarist worth the trouble -- and the legal fees -- he seems keen on getting?

[Fine. Give him a second to hold the story straight. With what's given to him, as able to compose himself best he can here in this moment, he'll be knocking fervently on Shinichi's doorstep. The main concern is that door opening. What happens after that will be history, but as far as he's hoping, that is the ultimate goal right here and how.

God bless being drunk beyond your reason.]

[Shin's blazed and his whole place smells like weed. He shouts from inside,] I told you the door's not locked!

[He's pretty sure he might get stuck on the ceiling if he gets up, and he wants to hang onto that high as long as he can before he has to face Stella, which will definitely kill his buzz immediately.]

[Fortunately for Shinichi, there is no Stella here. It's all Roxas, nothing more save for what dreams may have to offer.

It would be very easy to cave into one versus another, but at this time Roxas doesn't want that. Instead of holding back and going into whatever crevice he's assumed, Roxas goes toward that which he knows and yet doesn't know, but could know more.

But.. that wouldn't be him.. would it? He wants to cater to whoever will be there, but he also wants to hold onto and maintain his self.

Damnit.. not easy. These things are not easy. Having it come and by will do it, but it isn't enough. It's good enough he'd inebriated enough to not give a shit about what the actual outcome is. But these people are, according to someone, off limits.

[Roxas coming onto him isn't what he was expecting, but he had a feeling when he saw that look on Roxas's face.

Shin makes sure there's room on his couch and puts his arm over the seat next to him with a smile. He'll wait for Roxas to make an actual move before breaking his heart. He had enough alcohol to heal that heart.]

[That look is definitely more appropriately assigned to ' having had too much to drink' or 'under the influence of too many substances'... and angry. The tabloid shouldn't have pissed him off as much as it did, but it worked, and he's worked up from it.

With that spot on the couch available to him, as clear as day as Shin makes it to him, Roxas sets himself down in the most angry kind of way that he can muster. Which probably isn't the worst, but a lot coming from him.

The arm around him is welcomed in that he leans into it, because it's comforting and from someone familiar, but he's still a little too worked up to be charmed by anything else other than agitation from the reason of his visit. Mostly.]

Damnit.. why do we have to live like this? This is stupid, we work for our living, we should be able to do whatever the hell we want as long as we get them their money.. but you and I know it won't come to that. [Looooong drawn out sigh. Oh, that alcohol heavy mindset is making him weary despite the frustration.]

I kind of just want to say.. hell with them. We should do what we want. We make their money, who the fuck cares what else we do? [Turning to him, eyes glazed and very weighted with something, more likely inebriation but definitely something else,] You know?

[Shin laughs at that, getting himself a joint.] Hey, it's part of the business, right?

Label hasn't done anything about it yet, so whatever, right?

[This is a fair point. And Shin makes it even more so by grabbing a joint, further solidifying his 'not giving a fuck' attitude about whatever may have given Roxas the opposite of a reason to come over here in the first place.

So, whatever. Right? Sounds simple enough. Whatever, huh? Well, in that context, what does Roxas want to do that's 'whatever'? Or 'whatever' enough for this situation?

That joint may have met Shin at his lips a few times prior, but before it comes to seal the deal one last time Roxas intercepts and takes it in his own, sealing lips around the circumference of the paraphernalia in hand and then, through instruction prior, sucking out and breaking in what counts to send his mind on a trip so high all which he had packed prior is left behind as he is at the forefront of what is his 'savior', this here and now.

Except.. he's not going anywhere. Nothing is happening, no one is leaving, it's just Shin and Roxas. Though far from normal thinking, Roxas has a feeling on exactly what he wants here.. inebriation be blamed or otherwise,] It's just us.. [Groan, obviously drunken, or at least to made seem that way, afterwards Roxas leans even further into Shin as if seeking him for comfort. Which he may as well be doing.

But what isn't so obvious are the words dancing around his intentions, which, thankfully, are spoken] Is it.. okay? Can I? Can.. we?

[Shin chuckles a bit,] I'd have to charge you, like everyone else.

[The look on his face hopes that this is some kind of joke or parody. Is he really.. asking for money for this? Eyes close as he mulls it over, judgment obviously too clouded to put too much thought into it. Everyone is into something different, right? They'll just pretend for the act. Or at least Roxas will.] Uh.. sure. [He doesn't sound sure.] How much? Are you expensive?

[That sounds awful coming out of his mouth, or so he'd think if he was sobered up.]

Very. 1000 an hour.

[He pauses,] you don't sound so sure.

[Whoa. That is a lot of money. More than they make during their gigs, if one looks at the income per hour comparison.

Pause away, Shin, because Roxas is pretty sure he's sure. Taking out his wallet from his pocket, still leaning onto Shin for support, Roxas pulls a thick wad of crumpled up cash from it.]

How much time can this get? [It's not 1,000, he would never carry that much on him, but a few hundred, yes.

Shin is going really far for something that's supposed to be just an act.]

[How does Roxas think Shin got his motorcycle?

Shin's so convinced that people think of sex with him as a commodity that he doesn't even question that Roxas might really still think he's joking. After all, this is far for a joke.]

Long enough you won't forget it.

[Can't argue with that business model. Later when they're done, and Roxas has had adequate time to nap off this high, he can get his money back.]

Here you go then. [Sitting up now, he faces Shin and hands the cash over, crumpled and all. Yes, he really does think this is a joke. The money part, anyway. But he'll play away if it makes for a better performance.

He'll wait for Shin to give the go ahead, isn't that how these 'situations' work anyway?, before moving forward.]

[At least Roxas has a really cute face. It makes things easier for Shin, and the drugs aren't hurting either. He shoves the cash in his pocket, feeling vaugely grimy but oddly satisfied.

He puts down his joint in an ash tray before turning on Roxas with a predatory smile. He moves in quickly, pushing Roxas onto his back before straddling him. He runs his hands through Roxas's hair before leaning in for the first kiss, already forceful and passionate. Shin doesn't seem to be holding back.]

[That escalated a lot faster than he had thought it would. Apparently they only have so much time, whatever his money bought him in this game they're playing, so every second has to count. He's not used to having someone come onto him, push him down and then wrap themself around him like that.

He likes it. A lot. It takes the first kiss and all the momentum it's bringing to shred the last piece of restraint that kept him cordial. With it gone, and the green light clearly given, he'll force their kissing to be long, slow, everything from the taste of the drugs from earlier still on his tongue to that irresistable spot on the corner of his mouth where jewelry is pierced through. When he gets a chance he'll be paying attention there, gently flicking it this way and that to see how it feels on his own tongue.

Pretty good, actually. He was always oddly attracted to that. While indulging in that curiosity to the fullest, if he can find it he's hoping wandering hands can locate the end of Shin's shirt so they can slide in between there and begin to mark uncharted territory.
