[The hair tutorial video is fairly brief and, despite the fact it was clearly shot on his phone, there's a casual but clear attention to production values - nicely lit, 24FPS, even in the sped-up parts. He starts by showing off what his hair looks like loose - shaggy-layered and neck-length ("if you haven't got layers, nothing else will look right") - then explains that it's important to get everything as stiff as you can at the roots and light at the top. "I try to avoid using hairspray," he says, furiously backcombing shaving foam - that's definitely shaving foam - into the roots, "it's bad for the planet." The secret to getting the tips defined? Old lady setting lotion, apparently - "just pour some in your hands, put it on the ends, and twist 'em. See? Was that difficult?" If he's trolling, he's going to a lot of effort, because it seems to be working on film.]
