The cat's out of the bag for the feline lover Artolo Apemis and cool cat, jazz musician Bill Cipher! The two were seen at Maxxie Oliver's exclusive New year's event down at the Aether, exchanging glances and apparently only having eyes for no one else in the room. The party included many notable guests from both Pride and Virgo labels, but it would seem the very moment both men noticed the others’ presence, a spark was ignited and the two remained fixated on each other for the rest of the night.
One party-goer had this to say, after witnessing the heated encounter:
"That way their eyes locked, you could feel the tension in the air; so enamored was he that [Bill] spit out his drink and muttered a few phrases below his breathe! And that returning glance [Artolo] gave him back; even across a crowd of hundreds you could tell he was focused on him. It must be love!'"
While our sources cannot find any indication of Cipher and Artolo having any prior exchanges, clearly these two have a history. It would seem the label differences between Pride and Virgo can do little to stand in the way of clandestine meetings. What is it that draws such people to each other? Is it their shared love of their craft? The color yellow which both men seem to have a penchant for? Or perhaps this truly is a rare moment of admiration at first sight.
Regardless, It would seem not only do we have a new year, but potentially a new couple to look forward to as well.
